چکیده
Oceans cover over 70% of the Earth’s surface and provide numerous services to humans environment. Therefore, it is crucial monitor these valuable assets using advanced technologies. In this regard, Remote Sensing (RS) provides a great opportunity study different oceanographic parameters archived consistent multitemporal datasets in cost-efficient approach. So far, various types RS techniques have been developed utilized for applications. study, 15 applications ocean systems are comprehensively reviewed discussed. This divided into two parts supply more detailed information about each application. The first part briefly discusses 12 that often employed studies. Then, six ocean, including Ocean Surface Wind (OSW), Current (OSC), Wave Height (OWH), Sea Level (SL), Tide (OT), Ship Detection (SD), provided. For application, applicable systems, their advantages disadvantages, Machine Learning (ML) techniques, several case studies other nine applications, Iceberg, Ice (SI), temperature (SST), Salinity (OSS), Color (OC), Chlorophyll (OCh), Oil Spill (OOS), Underwater Ocean, Fishery, provided Part II study.

Understanding Forest Health with Remote Sensing -Part I - A Review of Spectral Traits, Processes and Remote-Sensing Characteristics
Anthropogenic stress and disturbance of forest ecosystems (FES) has been increasing at all scales from local to global. In rapidly changing environments, in-situ terrestrial FES monitoring approaches have made tremendous progress but they are intensive and often integrate subjective indicators for forest health (FH). Remote sensing (RS) bridges the gaps of these limitations, by monitoring indic...
متن کاملImage fusion techniques for remote sensing applications
Image fusion refers to the acquisition, processing and synergistic combination of information provided by various sensors or by the same sensor in many measuring contexts. The aim of this survey paper is to describe three typical applications of data fusion in remote sensing. The first study case considers the problem of the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry, where a pair of antenna...

متن کاملReview of Remote Sensing Image Segmentation Techniques
Image segmentation is an important tool in image processing and can serve as an efficient front end to sophisticated algorithms and thereby simplify subsequent processing. Image segmentation by region merging follows a particular order in the choice of regions. The target of segmentation is always to simplify and/or change the representation of a graphic into something that is more meaningful a...
متن کاملA Review of Application of Signal Processing Techniques for Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motors – Part I
Abstract - Use of efficient signal processing tools (SPTs) to extract proper indices for fault detection in induction motors (IMs) is the essential part of any fault recognition procedure. The Part1 of the two parts paper focuses on Fourier-based techniques including fast Fourier transform and short time Fourier transform. In this paper, all utilized SPTs which have been employed for fault fete...
